I finished Book Three!
Holy barnacle! I have finished the third book in the series. It will be a while before you see in the stores, but the entire text is there. Exactly 105 days after starting the second book, I have completed the third one, with 240,000 words written, averaging more than 2,000 words a day, although most of the writing was done on weekends. Moreover, I have successfully beaten my usual autumn-winter writers’ block, as there’s none, and I have never been more pumped about writing.
I would like to use this opportunity to tell you a little secret, too. Remember how I told you that book two would be about 15-20% longer than The Betrayed? Well, as it turns out, it is actually a little more than twice the size. Double! Now, this does not mean you will be reading long, boring descriptions about a hundred miscellaneous characters or the silly dresses they wear. No. You will get the same tight, brutal action like The Betrayed, only more of it. The same pace continues unabated in book three. Soon, soon everywhere. Finally, if all goes well, the fourth book should be complete sometime in mid-spring 2013.
Anyhow, book four, here I go. Cheers!
