SFFWorld 2015 Ecotones anthology announced
Friends and colleagues and fellow readers, fans and associated lurkers. I am pleased to announce there’s going to be another publication featuring my name. Following its annual tradition, the SFFWorld staff has unleashed another anthology unto the world. The theme for this year? Ecotones.
The anthology is going to feature a total of fourteen speculative fiction tales from best-sellers, award-winners and nominees, established talents and up-coming authors. Among the selected authors, you will find Ken Liu, with whom I had the pleasure to share the nomination, if not the winning title, for the Sidewise Awards for Alternate History earlier this year with my short story The Girl with the Flaxen Hair, also featured in the 2014 SFFWorld WWI anthology.
Ecotones is a collection of stories at the point of contact between fantasy and science fiction with a timely environmental theme. My own contribution bears the cheesy title of The Grass is Greener on the Other Side. You can read all the story teasers on the official Ecotones blog. There will be a lot more other good stuff coming, including a Kickstarter campaign, so stay tuned. Cheers.
