Like many an independent author, I was surprised by the (somewhat) unexpected and for me, rather ill-timed, announcement that CreateSpace would cease its professional services offering. This inopportune change coincided with my imminent decision to publish another book. All of a sudden, I was left in a lurch. Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) was suggested as an alternative, but it’s mostly self work, whereas I really wanted someone else to do the actual editing piece for me. So what now?

Yes. I am happy to announce that I have started working on the publication of the fourth and the final volume in The Lost Words series. There will be no more books about Adam, James and the rest of them. This is the very last one, and the body count shall rise. You need not wait for 2055 for the closure. It’s happening very soon. Medieval castles are an inseparable part of any fantasy book. Whether it’s high or low, magical or not, steampunk, industrial or barbaric, eventually, you will come across a big, architecturally magnificent piece of human masonry, woodwork and physics that goes against all logic. Which is totally cool, because you’re not there to admire realism, you’re there to admire ancient buildings created by a bygone races exactly 3,000 years ago. Or something. So how about some castles?

A second edition of the book is coming out soon, and it will feature a new, pimped-up cover art, by Anton Kokarev. I am in the process of redesigning the covers, and they shall never be the same again.
