The secret map of The Lost Words universe

The secret map of The Lost Words universe

A few weeks ago, I gave you a nicely decorated Tolkien-like version of the map depicting the Realms, the fictional world setting where the action and fun in The Betrayed takes place. While aesthetically pleasing and possibly intriguing, the new map did not add any details or reveal any new places. We shall remedy that in a jiffy.

Indeed, some people clamored that the map was not detailed enough and did not highlight most of the places mentioned in the book’s storyline, creating a bit of confusion, or fog of war, if you will. Well, you spoke, and I listened, so I decided to create the editor’s cut version of The Lost Words map, detailing every little town and village and hillock mentioned in the book. Not only that, you get all of the places from both book two and book three! In a way, this is a preview of some of the action happening later in the book series. And you won’t get it anywhere else, but here. So you’d better do that.

Here it is – a 3600x2918px version of the map. This one has it all. The Athesian Empire is marked as a grey smudge over the former territory of Caytor. All major roads are marked, as well as several rivers, forests and mines. Cities, towns, villages, army camps, they are all there, too. Once again, you won’t get this anywhere else, so if you like big fancy maps when reading books, you should print this and use it as a supplemental material for your experience.

Well I hope you like this. And if not, at the very least, I enjoyed drawing the map. So there you go. That would be all for this time. See you around, fellas. Have fun.
