Reduced book prices

Reduced book prices

Well, it’s a simple decision really. I have reduced the prices of both The Betrayed and The Broken, so more people get the chance to buy the books and read them, you know. Now there’s such a thing as a minimal price, which must cover the printing and shipping costs and such. In turn, this means effectively limiting the print distribution, so it won’t include some of the less popular third-party stores and libraries, but I think it should be worth it. While I cannot compete with the standard mass market paperbacks, the discount is still rather handsome.

Anyhow, you get a massive, permanent discount on both titles, roughly 30% for each, at USD9.99 and USD18.99 respectively, instead of USD13.95 and USD25.99. Yup. Less revenue for me, but I’m ok with that, since I’m so nice and benevolent and such. I fully understand that people cannot commit to shelling out large sums for books. So we’re gonna have a more limited market, mostly Amazon, but with better prices. Moreover, my audience tends to be somewhat of a geeky nature, and people who dabble in software are always less likely to spend money, as a rule. Hopefully, this will convince their hearts to invest in arts. A rhyme. Lovely jubbly. The change should show up on Amazon within a few hours, methinks. That would be all, party on.
