Read a book, write a review, maybe win a smartphone
Several days ago, I came up with a wicked idea. As you know, I make my living out of Linux, and I’m trying to promote Linux-based technologies that I think can benefit computer users worldwide. Then, I also want to promote my own work. So what’s the best thing? Roast two birds in one oven! Promote both at the same time.
To cut the long story short, I’ve organized a book read-review lottery contest for the readers of my other website, dedoimedo.com, and want to extend it here. Namely, read my book, The Betrayed, or the upcoming sequel, The Broken (coming soon), post an HONEST (good or bad) review on Amazon and get a chance to win an Ubuntu smartphone.
If you post reviews for both books, you double your chances! The only thing you will have to do is ping me in advance with your Amazon alias, so that no one can claim the review in your name. Ubuntu smartphones, somewhat similar to Android devices, will be released to market in Q4 2013 or early 2014. The contest will run till December 31, 2013. This can be a handsome Christmas or New Year gift. Since you all already read books all the time, especially fantasy and alike, then here’s a freebie for your effort. What’s easier than that?
For full details and the small print on the contest and its rule, please visit dedoimedo.com. I hope you find this endeavor inspiring. So if you needed an extra little nudge to get going, this seems like the right motivation boost. See you around.
