Let us announce the happy winner of this contest. All in all, more than forty people pledged, or had their names pledged to the contest, including the participants of the original my-best-software and the subsequent limerick contests. However, only 22 of them wrote their reviews in time, before the official expiry date of Year 2013. We even had one  exception, of a contestant who could not purchase the book on Amazon due to regional restrictions and whatnot, but they got their book by postal mail and subsequently wrote their opinion on Goodreads.

Anyhow, the winner of the smartphone contest is Christopher Ledbetter. Congratulations. Now, I will contact the winner by email to sort out the last details, like the shipping address and such. Since the Ubuntu smartphone is not yet available, we may agree on a replacement gadget, like one of the popular Android phones, or the happy winner may decide to wait until Canonical does finally release their devices to the world.
