Several weeks ago, I hosted my first Goodreads Kindle Giveaway with 100 copies of Prince Dietrich. So far, it seems like a valuable experiment. And this is why we’re going to have another giveaway! This time, The Betrayed, the first book in my epic, complete four-part series The Lost Words.
I am starting the publication process for my upcoming novel, I Shall Slay the Dragon!, a standalone biblical-mythology fantasy book staring the original Romeo & Juliet cast, the original femme fatale, and the beast. The End of Days, Gog and Magog, it’s all there.
Yes! The Kindle Giveaway Program has finally gone live on Goodreads! I have been waiting for this for 18 months! But never mind that. To business. I am giving away 100 Kindle copies of The Amazing Adventures of Dashing Prince Dietrich. The event starts on January 24 and runs through February 14. Innit to winnit, right?
Today, we shine the spotlight on a face that some have likened to historical figures. And by some I mean me. And by face I mean Andrew Leon Hudson, a fellow author from the SFFWorld.com community, with whom I had the pleasure of working on several projects in the past years. Well, it is time to be asking questions. As it happens, Andrew volunteered to provide a bunch of answers. Here we go.
It’s the end of the year as we know it, it’s the end of the year as we know it, and I feel benevolent. Commencing December 18 through December 31, ALL of my Kindle format books will be free for grabs on Amazon. D’you hear? All of them! Different books on different days, but in essence, you get two full weeks of free giveaways. Now that is what I call a holiday gift.
Let us have some pre-holidays holiday festivities! Next week, Friday to Sunday, November 24 from midnight till November 26 11pm (2300 hours), The Betrayed, the first book in The Lost Words series, will be available at a nice, discounted price of only USD0.99. This is a very neat 67% saving compared to the original tag, so you may want to pencil the dates down and take advantage of this nifty little Kindle Countdown Deal.
Let’s start the month of November with some really good news. Just a Silly Robot, a sci-fi themed short story of mine, has just been published in Allegory ezine, a bi-annual online magazine of science fiction, fantasy and horror, Volume 32/59, Fall/Winter 2017.
A happy moment has descended upon us. I’ve finished writing my hardcore military adventure drama book. Give or take three months of active writing, roughly 90K words, it is complete. Locked and loaded. Ready for action.
That that of year again. Anthologies! SFFWorld.com is running a brand new anthology project, and this time, it’s bigger and more complex than ever. It’s not just a collection of short stories. It’s a shared world. And it’s happening in a fictionalized metropolis on the west coast of the USA. The theme? Heroes & Villains.
More website changes. As some of the more astute-eyed among you may have already noticed, I’ve decided to enable HTTPS site-wide, so if you want to feel security conscious while reading my stories, you can do so. This isn’t a significant change from your perspective, as there aren’t any data forms or fields with sensitive information anywhere, but still, some extra S vitamin might not hurt.
