All right, we have boldly marched into a new year. As a present for you reading my stuff, I gave the first book in my epic fantasy series for free, for three days, on Amazon.com, in its Kindle format. Pretty much the same thing we did to celebrate Dedoimedo’s sixth birthday. So no that we’re done with the partying, let’s take a look at the results.
So how did we fare this year? Well, the book sold almost 1,000 copies, much like the last time. Only all of it happened pretty much in the second half of the first day. Much faster than the last time, probably also owning to the fact the book has since garnered a handful of handsome reviews. The book showed up in spot number 4, from the top that is, for a long while. Nice. Only in the previous giveaway, it actually managed to get into the third position, however given the holidays fever, it’s only fair to see some stiff, fierce competition out there. Regardless, it’s a lovely achievement. And then, I also captured my book’s ranking while in the fifth spot, alongside George R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones, again. For a brief while, I was among the giants. It was good while it lasted, and I want more. But only future books and writing will prove whether I deserve it.
That would be all for this time. We have begun a new year, and that means a new book. At least one. I plan to release the second volume in the series in a few months, so stay tuned. For now, I will keep its name secret, but all shall be revealed soon. See you around, and be excellent to each other!
