Hey you. Yes, here. Right there. Stop. Great. Great news. Awesome news. There’s another anthology being published by SFFWorld.com – any day now – and your significant goat lover has contributed a fistful of words. Author spotlight: me, me, me!

Author spotlight: me, me, me!

Children of the Internet, prophets, readers, fans, and friends! Nothing warms my heart more than thermonuclear reactions, and failing that, when someone puts me under a spotlight. Since I have a highly developed sense of narcissism and histrionics with a dab of self-diagnosed megalomania, USI and a keen love for the stage, being called to attention by others, in a good way, is a great boon. On a more serious note, but not by a lot, I have not one but two author spotlights for you!

I am a summer child

I am a summer child

Believe it or not, I have never had a writer’s block per se. I do have time periods where I scribble more or less prose, while my technical writing verbosity remains constant. But I have yet to face that dreadful situation when no words come forth from the tips of your fingers. However, I did notice a clear correlation between seasons and my inspiration.

My no-magic, gunpowder-era, Renaissance-styled, Venetian-flavored grimfun slash fundark novel by the name of Amazing Adventures of Dashing Prince Dietrich is about to take flight. A majestic flight, like an eagle soaring off a cliff. ‘Tis publication time!

And now for something completely different. A guest post. Normally, you would not get its kind here, but since we’re all one happy family over at SFFWorld.com, and we have another anthology coming out soonish, we have a blog tour, and we’re sharing each other stories. Only yesterday, Andrew Leon Hudson hosted mine. Today, I am happy to introduce Kurt Hunt, contributing author in Ecotones. He’s here to tell us why he submitted his world shattering story to SFFWorld.com’s fourth anthology.
